Lists are great. Lists are a very simple, yet versatile way to keep track of things. For instance, a "To Do" list. This is probably the most generally used lists in the world. It seems so elementary but do not underestimate the power of a to do list. I can site many very foremost and wealthy population who would not fail to give mention to the significance of assosication straight through using simple tools such as "To Do" lists and calendars.
As I am sure you can gather, I am very fond of the fact that Sharepoint Services allows you to create individual lists for just about anyone you want.

The last list I created was a "Client List" so that my entire team could have a list of all of our current clients.
So, how do you create a list?
Let me break it down for you.
1. Log into your catalogue using login info that has admin possession attached to it.
2. Now, click on the "Site Actions" tab placed in the top right hand corner of your page.
3. When the drop down menu appears, click on the "create" tab.
4. Next you will be taken to a page that has a horizontal menu bar across the town of the page. Under the "Custom Lists" heading find the tab that is titled "Custom List" and click on it.
5. Now you will be taken to a page that asks you to title and spin the new list. Do that.
6. Once you have done this, you will scroll down and hit the "Create" tab.
And there you have it! You have now officially created your first Sharepoint Services practice list!
Now all you need to do is add items to your list!
